ABOUT ME
Hello!
My name is Isabel Doricent, and I'm a senior at BB&N. Part of my last trimester of high school includes a unique project called "Senior Spring Project" where I cultivate my own schedule around activities that satisfy my inquiries, give me new experiences and allow me to continue my social and intellectual passions. Throughout this website you'll see how I chose to fulfill the required pillars and my remaining hours and learn about why I chose them specifically. Outside of this project, some of my hobbies include making art, crafting, spending time with friends or family and roller skating! I hope you enjoy seeing how I crafted my project.

The Senior Spring Project (SSP) is a program at BB&N where seniors are required to design their own experiences while meeting certain requirements. These requirements include dedicating at least 5 hours to the core values of the 4 SSP pillars and choosing additional activities for the remaining hours. For me, these remaining activities included an internship, cooking and an independent study; however, everyone's path varies. Overall, we must be committed to this schedule for 40-50 hours a week, read a book that connects to our academic and/or social inquiries, and write a few reflections about our project.
