Filmmaking
A couple of friends and I decided to create a short mockumentary TV series as part of a Film Independent Study. We met on Sunday and Monday evenings to brainstorm and Tuesdays and Thursdays to record. Our study consisted of storyboarding, writing a script, recording and editing each episode.

Story Boarding/Script
The first couple weeks of SSP consisted of us brainstorming what we wanted to film. We landed on a mokumentary-style TV show about 4 high school students with stereotypical/cliché personalities navigating a school project until their deepest secrets get revealed. Most of our work was done on google docs and a script website called "Celtx".

Recording
Recording was my favorite part! We wore costumes, asked some students to be extras and were able to use a monopod, microphones along with our phones to record. Most of our recording took place at school with one episode being at Harvard Square and a friend's house.
Editing
Since we broke down our film into 5 parts, we each edited one episode to speed up the editing process. We used Adobe Premiere Pro, and for non-copyrighted music, we used Soundtrap. Thanks to our mentor, Mr. Gaines, we were able to make our vision come to life through this last step. Click the button to watch!
